Character Development

I begin sketching character concepts with loose, expressive sketches. When the character fits the needs of the story, I sketch them with various expressions and poses.

Then I refine the shapes and proportions of the character from these sketches.

Then I experiment with possible color scheme variations.

I create the final character design in digital for smooth lines and bold, saturated color.
